In addition, this disease is regarded as the main cause of dental loss in adults. Today, it is confirmed that there is a mutual relationship between periodontal diseases and many systematic illnesses, in a way that the emergence of such periodontal diseases could increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases, brain strokes, renal problems, miscarriage, premature delivery, premature neonates, diabetes and many other problems. On the other hand, many systematic diseases could affect periodontal health, leading to more severe occurrence of the disease. Periodontal diseases cause loss of dental support, resulting in dental loss at the end.
